Watch Out for Scammers! 👀✋

Let’s talk about something important: email scams. These tricky emails pretend to come from companies like Wix, GoDaddy, or even your bank—but they’re not real.

I get a lot of messages from clients asking, “Is this real?” And guess what? Most of the time, it’s a scam.

What Do These Emails Look Like?

  • They say things like “Your account will be shut down” or “Click here to renew your service.”

  • They often look like they’re from Wix, GoDaddy, PayPal, or Google.

  • The email might look fancy and use logos—but that doesn’t mean it’s real.

Don’t Click Any Links 🛑

If you get a weird email, don’t click anything. Here’s what to do instead:

  1. Go directly to the company’s website.

  2. Log into your account from there.

  3. Check for any real alerts or messages.

How to Spot a Scam Email 📬

  • The sender’s email address looks strange or has spelling errors.

  • The message makes you feel rushed or scared.

  • There are weird grammar mistakes or it just feels “off.”

  • They ask you for personal information like passwords or credit card numbers.

Protect Yourself 🔐

  • Set up 2-Factor Authentication. This means even if someone gets your password, they can’t log in without your phone or code.

  • Never share your login info with anyone over email or text.

  • If in doubt—ask!I can help check if the email is real. Better safe than sorry.
